Music education rooted in tradition, built for today
Swar Brahma Music Academy was founded in 2011 by a small group of performing musicians who were frustrated with how music was usually taught: either overly rigid classical training with no room for personal style, or casual lessons with no structure to actually measure progress.
We built a curriculum that respects both. Every course, whether it's Hindustani classical vocals or contemporary music production, is broken into clear, gradeable levels, taught by instructors who still perform professionally, with real recitals and showcases along the way, not just private lessons in a vacuum.
Today we train students aged 6 to 65 across India and internationally, online and at our campus locations, without losing the guru-shishya spirit that shaped our own training.
